Help me support Canucks Autism Network!
I am excited to be participating in the Dave McAnerney Ride for Autism in partnership with the Canucks Autism Network!
This annual event honours the memory of Dave McAnerney, a dedicated family man and longtime supporter of the Canucks Autism Network (CAN) programs. Dave was a dear friend and was the brother of a very close friend of mine, Marshall "Ernie" McAnerney. Marshall's son is on the spectrum.
Youth on the autism spectrum are more likely to have long-term health conditions, and to report challenges with communication, accepting change and making friends.
Do you believe that every child on the spectrum has the right to play sports?
Or that every Autistic adult should have access to meaningful employment?
Help me support the cause. Donate to my campaign!
The rate of children obtaining an autism diagnosis in B.C. between the ages of 6-18 increased to 1 in 32 (3.1%) in 2021. The need for support is greater than ever. All proceeds support CAN's efforts.
