What does the registration fee cover?
The $199 registration fee ($149 early bird) covers:
- All the tastings at each participating winery, cidery, and distillery
- Post-ride picnic, drinks & live entertainment at the Kitsch family home & orchard.
- Your chance at exclusive fundraising & ride challenge prizes
As per CRA guidelines, the registration fee is not tax deductible.
What are the participation options?
You can register as an individual, start a team, or join an existing team (max 10 individuals per team)!
Any bike is welcome, including e-bikes. E-bike rentals from Lime will also be available for a $50 add-on at registration.
Non-cyclists can also participate by signing up for our shuttle bus with Kelowna Concierge.
All participation types are $199 (early bird $149).
I want to join a team, but I already signed up as an individual. What do I do?
No worries! Just email us at info@ride4autism.ca and we will change your registration.
Is this a competitive ride?
Not at all! There is no timed component to the ride.
Cyclists choose their own route based on how many participating wineries, cideries, or distilleries they choose to visit.
What are the ride challenges?
At each participating winery, cidery or distillery, an event volunteer will guide you through a fun challenge!
Past challenges have included bean bag toss, cookie eating, tower building, and other similarily-silly activities!
For each challenge you complete, you will receive a stamp on your 'ride passport'. You can also receive bonus stamps by making a purchase at each stop.
At the end of the ride, each stamp can be redeemed for an entry into our collection of prize draws!
How much am I expected to fundraise?
Our annual goal is to raise $150,000 for the Canucks Autism Network in Kelowna!
In order to do so, we ask that each rider commits to a fundraising goal of $500.
How can I reach my fundraising goal?
Visit our fundraising tips webpage for a range of ideas! You can also reach out to us at info@ride4autism.ca at any time for support.
I'm looking for the Dave McAnerney Ride for Autism. Is this the same thing?
Yes, you're in the right place! The Kelowna Ride for Autism has a long history and has gone by several different names over the years.
It has been previously known as the Dave McAnerney Ride for Autism and the HM Commercial Ride for Autism.
