I am writing to you to raise funds on behalf of CAN (Canucks Autism Network). The Dave McAnerney Ride for Autism is a charity bike "race" renamed in honour of my dear friend Dave McAnerney who passed in 2022. Dave was a devoted advocate for autism awareness and supporting individuals and families affected by this condition.

As you may know, autism is a complex developmental disorder that affects individuals' social communication, behaviour and interests. It is estimated that 1 in 68 children are diagnosed with autism in Canada, and the costs associated with its diagnosis and treatment can be a financial burden for many families. CAN provides support services such as therapy, education and counselling to families and individuals affected by autism

Any donation is appreciated. The "Bonus Chicken" part is that every donation will be matched by the Stober Foundation.
