Krista's CAN Pro-Am Fundraising Page

I've been involved with the organization for years and am again fundraising for their Pro-Am Hockey Charity tournament this Fall. Don’t worry, I’m not playing, I’m managing The Grizzlies team and hoping to draft Daniel Sedin for the 3rd year in a row!
This nonprofit means a lot to me and I hope you'll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me. Every little bit will help.
If you haven’t heard of them, Canucks Autism Network (CAN) provides amazing programs and support to individuals on the autism spectrum & their families, as well as promoting acceptance & inclusion through community engagement & training initiatives across BC & beyond.
By donating, you are helping CAN build a future where every autistic individual is understood, accepted & supported. With 1 in 32 BC children & youth on the spectrum (that’s one in every classroom), the need for support is greater than ever.
CAN provides a wide range of programs for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families – including opportunities in sports & rec, employment & volunteering, mental health & wellnesss and life skill development.
CAN is committed to promoting autism acceptance, understanding & inclusion through community engagement & training initiatives across BC. For example, they have sessions at YVR where families can practice travelling (so children are more comfortable) and they have done training with all staff at Rogers Arena and Vancouver Aquarium so people are better able to help people on the autism spectrum.
Please join me in making a difference.
